Common skin fungus situations are NORMAL, but that doesn't mean we have to live with them!! Anywhere skin touches skin, or where it doesn't stay the driest, you might have a fungus issue - and it's not desirable or economical (to say the least) to use Lotrimin-like lotion. SO. Enter - Tea Tree Balm!! Infused with a blend of anti-fungal herbs, then boosted with a blend of anti-fungal essential oils... it smells AMAZING and you'll fight the fungus all day long! A natural balm is a WAY better option than expensive chemical-laden creams!
HOW TO USE IT: Wash and dry affected area, then apply balm like lotion or cream 1-2x daily. Wash hands after use; don't apply near eyes.
If using this balm for toenail fungus... it won't fix the damage already done to the nail. BUT... it will stop the progression of the fungus - so as new nail grows, it will grow in without fungal signs/damage. It will take time, but you will notice a more natural clear nail as it grows in! Use 2x daily for best results.
IS IT SAFE FOR BABIES & LITTLE KIDS? Because I infused peppermint and oregano leaves into my base oil, it's MUCH more mild than similar products that use the essential oils instead. So, while I don't recommend it for babies, just do a small patch test on kids before using it regularly to ensure there isn't irritation. As always, keep this, and any other medical product out of the reach of children.

MY FORMULA: INGREDIENTS & WHY I PICKED THEM
I chose a potent combination of herbs that are widely documented for their anti-fungal properties, then boosted them with two essential oils ALSO studied widely for their anti-fungal properties! From breaking down the cell walls of the fungus to weakening the cell membranes to actual fungal growth inhibitors, this combination of herbs and oils is a homerun for us, and a strike out for common skin fungus! After using something so mild and natural, you'll never buy one at the pharmacy again!
HANDCRAFTED IN SMALL BATCHES:
My salves, infused oils, lotions, creams and scrubs are handcrafted in small batches using special (and proprietary) infusion processes that took me 6 years to develop! My goal is to move as much of the natural medicinal goodness as I can from the herbs into the oil... and the result is a whole line of salves that have been uniquely currated to be surprisingly effective! In our home, we grab a salve before we EVER pop a pill!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
-
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE? The shelf life of my salves is 1-2 years; however you'll enjoy the most medicinal benefit within the first year.
-
HOW MUCH SALVE SHOULD I USE? In general, consider using a "small glop" the size of a pump or two of lotion and apply over the affected area 2-3x daily as needed (use less if it's a tiny area, of course)! In general, a minor topical skin issue will use much less salve than a joint or muscle issue where you are massaging the salve in. See my website or check your product label for specific application recommendations.
-
ARE SALVES SAFE FOR BABIES & SENSITIVE SKIN? Many of my close friends and family use my salves on themselves and their families regularly with great success and confidence. Just like with ANY new skin care product, there is always a potential for allergies or irritation... so test a small area first before using regularly or on a larger area. If you have KNOWN allergies, take note of the ingredient list provided on each label. And, of course, discontinue use if any kind of reaction or irritation occurs. Salves with menthol crystals, camphor, peppermint and eucalyptus are NOT intended for young children and babies.
- A NOTE ABOUT CONSISTENCY: Depending on the temperatures where you live, your salve will arrive with a general consistency between a neosporin-type oinment and a slightly firm vaseline. Softness of the salve will vary based on your particular climate and seasonal temperature. Since the salve contains beeswax, avoid leaving in a hot car or in the sun to prevent melting. Your tin will be shrink wrapped to prevent any dripping if it does happen to soften during transit. If melting does occur, simply put it in the refrigerator to return it to its normal consistency.
- It has a green or yellow hue... will it stain? I've used these salves repeatedly and have never had any clothing stain. However... I probably wouldn't use it while in my wedding dress, and definitely don't send it through the laundry! {wink, wink!}
