HOW TO PRINT & ASSEMBLE: Print your interior pages on regular white paper and choose "double sided printing". All inside pages are black and white only (which makes printing much less expense). For the covers, print a front and back for each journal you make. The covers are designed for "borderless" printing, so if you are printing at home - select "photo printing" on your print properties and choose 8.5x11 borderless in your print properties (not all printers can print borderless). For most vivid color results, use glossy photo paper and your printers best quality print setting. Laminate my covers before binding to increase durability. Printing your covers can also be done at a copy shop. You can also simply 3-hole punch and put your journal in a binder.
HOW TO USE THE STICKERS: For best results print on either full sheet label paper using your printer's "best" quality print setting for the most vibrant print. Then, trim with scissors and apply to your journal to bring attention to talks that impacted you the most! Wait until AFTER conference to apply your tabs so you know where each of the sessions begin/end. If you have a cutting machine, a JPEG & PNG is also included.
CAN I PRINT IT SMALLER THAN 8.5X11? Yes! The simplest way I've found to "shrink" a standard PDF is to determine a smaller size that you like and that is closely proportional to 8.5x11. Next, trim your paper to that size first (this is the KEY)! Load it into your printer and when you hit print - in the Print Properties, change your paper size to match the size you want (the size you trimmed your paper). If the paper size you want isn't listed as a size option, you can go into your Control Panel/Printers and in Print Properties add a custom paper size. My favorite "smaller" size is 6x8 (shown in image #5). See tutorial HERE.

Actually, I know what I did before I discovered these Conference journals--I didn't really take notes. Way back when, I bought a very simple version of this product and reused it every year. Then in 2019 or so, there was a special journal for conference, new lay out and I really liked it. It has been revamped again, so that there are quotes from the conference before, suggestions on how to prepare and things like that. Yes, I could just use the same old file for every conference, but it is so nice to have a fresh looking cover and everything for each conference. AND it make a great gift for my bestie each conference.
This layout is genius! I love that I can take notes while watching conference and then right next door is the perfect place to review it again later. Just perfect!
