I LOVE WORDS... they are so powerful!!

Making Morse Code Bracelets is a really fun, creative way to carry your WORD with you all year long! Make one for yourself, make them as gifts - or use this printable in a fun activity with youth or for a girls night out!

12 PAGE PRINTABLE PDF: It includes basic instructions, tips, suggested supplies, 8 words already decoded for you + bracelet cards for each of them.

  • 8 WORDS (AND CARDS) INCLUDED: Balance, Courageous, Gratitude, Joyful, Remember, Simplify, Strength, Trust
  • This set also includes 2 DIY sheets for creating your own words, names, and phrases using Morse Code!

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS: Pick your word or phrase and assign 3 colors of beads to represent the dots, dashes, and spaces in-between each letter (so that the bracelet can be decoded)! Lay out your beads in Morse Code pattern, thread onto a stretchy cord, use a square knot and nail glue to finish. If using my bracelet cards... print and trim, then corner round them if desired & punch a hole or slit to hold the bracelet in place!

FIND MY FAVORITE SUPPLY RECOMMENDATIONS (HERE)!

  • 3mm & 4mm beads are my favorite to use with this project. If only doing a single word, 6mm is fun and more chunky (but takes less beads to make a bracelet, so it may not work for longer words or phrases). In my opinion, 2mm beads are too small.
  • I prefer .7mm Stretch Magic Cord and recommend you use double the length of the finished bracelet.
  • I always dab my square knot with nail glue to secure
  • I love using "felt square sheets" as my workspace - it helps your beads not roll away!

TIP FOR PRINTING BRACELET CARDS: I recommend printing on card stock, personally I LOVE "kraft" style card stock for this project - but any color or even white will work! You'll find 1 sheet with all 8 words... plus 1 full sheet for each word.

Morse Code Bracelets

Loved this fun way to keep my focus on the things that matter most to me! I have already used it as my ministering sisters for the month with one bracelet that was the same for each of them, one bracelet with a word that I told them I think of them and a worksheet with a promise to make them their own bracelet with the word of their choice. We're planning on having our own little bead party either individually or as a group. I'm also using it for my daughters who are in college on opposite coasts with words that draw us together. This is a great way to focus for 2025
