I've been studying herbs for over 7 years and BY FAR... dandelion is my favorite!! It's definitely NOT a weed like most people think, it's one of Mother Nature's most powerful healers! A NOTE ABOUT MY BALMS & SALVES:

My salves are released in small homemade batches after a special (and proprietary) infusion process that took me 6 years to develop! My goal is to move as much of the natural medicinal goodness as I can from the herbs into the oil... and the result is a whole line of salves that have been uniquely currated to be surprisingly effective! ABOUT DANDELION FLOWERS: Dandelions are full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants making them a crusader against free radicals and powerful fighters for cellular health and skin recovery. They are also anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and are a natural anti-histamine - which is why when infused into a salve or balm, it's particularly AMAZING for calming sore, dry lips! It can reduce redness, decrease flakiness, restore your natural moisture barrier and improve the overall condition of your lips!

ABOUT CALENDULA FLOWERS: Calendula flowers have antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. It's also used as an antiseptic, can help calm redness, reduces inflammation and can ease skin discomfort. It's skin-loving properties make it an excellent addition to any lip balml!

ABOUT LAVENDER: Besides its divine aroma, it's widely know for its anti-microbial properties and has been used for centuries to fight infection. It's full of anti-oxidants which contribute to it's ability to speed the healing of burns, cuts and wounds by accelerating skin re-generation. It's a natural pain reliever, reduces inflammation, and is particularly great at calming your nerves!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE? The shelf life of the oil in the salve is 1-2 years. However, to enjoy its medicinal benefits the most, I recommend using within a year.
HOW MUCH SALVE SHOULD I USE? In general, consider using a "small glop" the size of a pump or two of lotion and apply over the affected area 2-3x daily as needed (use less if it's a tiny area, of course)! In general, a minor topical skin issue will use much less salve than a joint or muscle issue where you are massaging the salve in. See my website or check your product label for specific application recommendations.
ARE SALVES SAFE FOR BABIES & SENSITIVE SKIN? I haven't conducted FDA approved clinical trials, so I can't label my salves as "for sensitive skin" or "baby safe." But, I can tell you MANY of my close friends and family use my salves on themselves and their families OFTEN & REGULARLY with great success and confidence. Just like with ANY new skin care product, there is always a potential for allergies or irritation... so test a small area first before using regularly or on a larger area. If you have KNOWN allergies, take note of the ingredient list provided on each label. And, of course, discontinue use if any kind of reaction or irritation occurs. My base oil is derived from almonds. Salves with menthol crystals, camphor, peppermint and eucalyptus are NOT intended for young children and babies.
A NOTE ABOUT CONSISTENCY: Depending on the temperatures where you live, your salve will arrive with a general consistency between a neosporin-type oinment and a slightly firm vaseline. Softness of the salve will vary based on your particular climate and seasonal temperature. Since the salve contains beeswax, avoid leaving in a hot car or in the sun to prevent melting. Your tin will be shrink wrapped to prevent any dripping if it does happen to soften during transit. If melting does occur, simply put it in the refrigerator to return it to its normal consistency.

Great Salve!

I have a problem with some moderate eczema. I have been using an over-the-counter eczema cream that worked for a short while and then the eczema flared up again. This time I got my tin of Dandelion Salve out and applied some to the irritated skin. First, it calmed the skin, then it soothed the skin. After only a few days, the eczema is clearing up! I really like this salve. I always rub any excess salve left on my hands into my cuticles. The cuticles are starting to look better, too.

This Dandelion Salve is fantastic. I have trouble with sensitive skin - I have tried everything to soothe my irritated skin. I thought I would try this Dandelion salve and felt immediate relief from the soreness and itchiness associated with my skin irritation. I love it!

I’m glad I had dandelion salve to use

I crashed on my bike and it tore up my arm and knee. After cleaning up the wounds I immediately put on the dandelion salve and continued using it every day. Within a week of the accident my wounds we’re almost completely healed. I will never be without the salve! I love the stuff!!

Very good product!

The first thing I tried was the Lip Balm. That is wonderful! My lips felt nourished not loaded in wax. I use it before bed and throughout the day. No more cracked, greasy lips. I have been using the salve on my elbows. My elbows are so smooth. I have tried many products for extra dry skin and it was a waste of money. The dandelion salve works! Thank you so much!
